Champion Brewing Company, an award-winning local brewery, will will release two new beers this summer: Electric Light and Inflatable Arms.

Electric Light was originally created for their Charlottesville run club and soon to be available nationwide, Electric Light (IBU 5, 3.6% ABV)  is a summer crusher with only 98 calories, 5g of carbs, and replenishing Himalayan salt. Electric Light is the first thing you’ll reach for after a hard run or workout. Brewed with passion fruit purée to add a summer tang and a refreshing tartness, this fruited, functional ale goes down so easy that you’ll want to have the next one cold and ready to follow.

Inflatable Arms In August, Champion will release Inflatable Arms, (IBU 5, 4% ABV) a session IPA hopped with Mandarina Bavaria, Cashmere, Azacca, this IPA has notes of blueberry, coconut, pineapple, tangerine zest. This is one IPA that will make your palate dance and get your toes tapping. The kind of beer that makes you want to fling your arms over your head like a dancing windsock puppet.

And it’s all within a few miles of downtown Charlottesville, UVA, John Paul Jones Arena and other area attractions.
